Ahead of the G7 Summit in Hiroshima in May 2023, young people and students from all over the world, including the G7 countries, will gather in Hiroshima on 25-27 April for the “Hiroshima G7 Youth Summit." the 53 participants will learn about the inhumanity of nuclear weapons, and will spend three days discussing and formulating recommendations for a world free of nuclear weapons. These recommendations will then be delivered to the leaders of their respective countries by the time of the G7 Summit.

On April 26 (Wednesday), the second day of the Youth Summit, an open session will be held at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Here, young people from around the world who learned about the inhumanity of nuclear weapons in Hiroshima will share their thoughts and discuss what young people and citizens can do in the future. This event is open to the public, so if you are in Hiroshima, you are invited to attend!
