ICAN will have a small sponsorship programme to bring a few representatives from ICAN partner organisations from the Global South to participate in the third meeting of state parties.

Due to limited funding at this time, we are encouraging campaigners who can sponsor themselves to do so, as well as international networks to sponsor their members and affiliates.

Selection criteria for sponsorship will include: the TPNW status of your country (state party, signatory, supportive non-signatory), regional and subregional representation, gender, language, visa status, among others. ICAN will not support more than one-person per organisation. ICAN sponsorship will not be applicable to organisations that already intend to send a representative.        

ICAN will however be able to provide supporting letters for visa applications for self-sponsored campaigners.
