WNY Drilling Defense & Environmental Justice Taskforce of the WNY Peace Center hosts a weekly vigil at the Peace Bridge every Friday from 2 PM - 3 PM. (Busti Ave & Vermont St). We focus on the transport of nuclear waste between Canada and the US (e.g. shipments of spent nuclear fuel). This Friday, we will also vigil to prompt the US to sign onto the nuclear weapons ban, which is now active worldwide.
