Interfaith Service for Nuclear Disarmament December 02, 2026 at 7:00pm - 10pm Eastern Time (US & Canada) Church of the Holy Family 315 E 47th St New York, NY 10017 United States Contact person: Susi Snyder
This Interfaith Prayer Service for Nuclear Disarmament is in support of the goals of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). It is an opportunity to build a genuinely "big tent" interfaith moment, bringing together faith leaders across many traditions.
Holy Family Church has hosted similar services in the past around major UN nuclear disarmament meetings, including the First Committee and High-Level Week, and has been visited by at least two popes.
Archbishop Wester based in the centre of the U.S. nuclear industrial complex has spearheaded the Partnership of a World Without Nuclear Weapons and is a leading voice in efforts to abolish nuclear weapons.
This event involves a number of cooperating entities, including NukeWatch New Mexico, ICAN and others.
