OREPA will hang a banner on the fence at the Y-12 Nuclear Weapons Complex at the corner of Scarboro Road and East Bear Creek Road (main entrance) in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. We will also read portions of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons publicly and we will display 122 yellow Xs on the fence—one for each vote for the Treaty in the UN. Masks will be required, and social distancing will be strictly observed. Because we can spread out along the road, there is no numerical limit for this event. People should use their own judgment and comfort level in making decisions about participation.
