We will gather in the park near the Plaza, which is the traditional protest space in Kansas City that has a lot of traffic. We will hold 4 banners (8ft x ft) with bright yellow background and black letters which say, “Nuclear Weapons Are Illegal” and in smaller red letters “The Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Will Now Be Law” and in smaller black letters below that “The Treaty bans the development, testing, production, manufacture, acquisition, possession or stockpiling, transfer, control or receipt, use or threat to use, stationing or deployment of nuclear weapons”.
People may bring handmade signs as well.
Depending on the weather, there may be speeches and leafleting.
