For young people inheriting the world created by today’s decision-makers, it is vital that Gen Z and millennial leaders play an active role in all global security and disarmament initiatives. The intertwining threats of the runaway climate crisis, escalating threat of nuclear war, and dire global injustices require us to work in concert with one another, welcome new ways of thinking, and listen to those who are most at-risk. 

“Ensuring our Future” will platform a cohort of young experts from a number of leading disarmament organizations with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The interactive panel will cover topics related to youth leadership, intersectional approaches to movement building, intergenerational dialogue, and more. Participants and panelists alike will leave with a renewed understanding of what the future of nuclear disarmament looks like and how each of us, individually and organizationally, can adopt a 21st Century approach
