On the evening of 22 January Pax Christi Vlaanderen organizes an online screening of a short movie by Belgian director Robbe De Hert. The movie, called "De Bom" and starring famous Flemish writer Louis Paul Boon, tells the story of a man who finds a nuclear bomb in his garden. Dating back to 1969, it is a sign of protest against the nuclear arms race that was taking place at that point in time. Today it is relevant as ever and it looks at the way in which ordinary people can resist the kind of power politics of which nuclear weapons are a symbol. A gem of the Belgian film history that deserves to be watched.

After the movie an online reception will be held to celebrate the entry into force of the TPNW at a safe distance. It will be a night to remember!
