We will be gathering for a vigil at the front gate of Vandenberg air Force Base near Lompoc California at 2:00 on Friday January 22nd. There will be a small group who will be walking to the base from about 5 mi away. We will have banners explaining that nuclear weapons are now illegal under international law and a number of us will also have T-shirts stating the same. I don't expect that there will be a lot of people there, maybe about a dozen but I think Vandenberg is an important venue as they have been testing intercontinental ballistic missiles now for many years.
