Each International Day of Peace Day, Hunter Peace Group holds an event calling for an end to war - (This year certainly and end to the Israel's onslaught on Palestine (if it is still continuing) - locally and end to the AUKUS PACT and no nuclear port in Newcastle NSW or any other port in Australia. We usually include in this a call for the de-militarisation of Australia under the USA-Australian alliance and most importantly the de-militarisation of our education system.
