Discover the connections between nuclear weapons and climate change, and their impact on our planet's survival. The in-person event will take place at the Peace Garden on the west end of Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall, and will be live-streamed for those who can’t make it.

Prepare to be engaged as GenZ documentary filmmaker and social justice advocate, Kasha Sequoia Slavner, speaks on the 78th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Kasha's upcoming effort, 1.5 Degrees of Peace, will address the dual threat of nuclear weapons and climate change.
Performances will include Grammy-nominated flautist Ron Korb and Toronto's Raging Grannies. The event will conclude with a Lantern Ceremony.
