On 22 January 2021 the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons enters into force, meaning nuclear weapons become illegal under international law. This film details the Manhattan Project, the secret endeavour during World War 11 to develop the first nuclear weapons. The film is named after “Little Boy” and "Fat Man” the two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
A short video of Karina Lester - Yankuntjatjara/Pitjantjatjara Second Generation Nuclear Survivor - will precede the film.
