Press Conference jointly held and attended by Hibakusha organizations in Hiroshima to respond to the G7 leaders' visit to Peace Park and meeting with Hibakusha on May 19th.

The leaders of the G7 - Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States - are meeting in Hiroshima from May 19-21 at a time when the risk of nuclear weapons use is at an all time high. As the heads of states have nuclear weapons in their security policies (either as nuclear-armed states or as host or umbrella states) meeting in the first ever city to be devastated by nuclear weapons, the pressure is on these leaders to propose real action towards nuclear disarmament.
