ICAN will have a small sponsorship programme to bring a few representatives from ICAN partner organisations from the Global South to participate in the TPNW First Review Conference.

Due to limited funding at this time, we are encouraging campaigners who can sponsor themselves or seek other sources of funding to do so, as well as international networks to sponsor their members and affiliates. ICAN will not support more than one-person per organisation. ICAN sponsorship will not be applicable to organisations that already intend to send a representative.

ICAN will however be able to provide supporting letters for visa applications for self-sponsored campaigners.

Given the unstable security and political situation in the United States and increased Visa restrictions, we encourage everyone who chooses to attend to take precautions including, but not limited to: researching resources for their safety, acquiring refundable tickets if attaining a visa becomes impossible, and consider device and data security. ICAN is not liable for any individual while they are traveling to or attending UN or associated meetings.
