The Peace Flag Project joins hands with individuals around the world, who wish to make a contribution through Art towards Peace and the banning of Nuclear Weapons

ICAN has been instrumental with the 50th ratification of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons having been deposited on 24 October 2020, the Treaty will enter into force on 22 January 2021. This day will open a new chapter for nuclear disarmament: nuclear weapons will at long last be banned under international law, just like other weapons of mass destruction..

As a proud supporter of ICAN, we welcome all individuals to be a part of the Peace Flag to commemorate the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons coming into force on  22 January 2021

There will be 1000 blank canvases distributed to individuals and schools where they are to express what it means to have a world without Nuclear Weapons. The Canvases will then be collected and stitched together to form a Peace Flag with the Peace resolution passed by the City Council of the San Mateo Region.

The Flag will be displayed on the Facade of the City Council to commemorate the Treaty coming into Force and will be on for exhibit for 5 days. Wherein ICAN will be tagged on all social media Posts and we will have a press release
