Policy and Research Intern
Talei Luscia Mangioni is an Fijian-Italian PhD candidate at the School of Culture, History and Language at the Australian National University. Talei's scholarship examines the critical and creative histories of the Nuclear Free and Independent Movement in the Oceanic region. Exploring these stories through creative works, she engages a trans-disciplinary research practice through writing and film-making. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and Government from the University of Sydney and an Honours in Asian Studies from the Australian National University. She also works as a research assistant and educator in Pacific studies, and as an archivist at the Pacific Manuscripts Bureau.
