Volunteer during Nuclear Ban Week New York!

Are you based in New York City and passionate about creating a safer and more peaceful world? Do you believe in the power of art, culture, and community to drive positive change? If so, we invite you to be a part of something truly meaningful - Nuclear Ban Week New York, November 26 - December 1, 2023.

Nuclear Ban Week New York is a week-long series of events designed to engage, educate, and inspire people from all walks of life to work towards a world free of nuclear weapons. From multimedia concerts and captivating art exhibitions to impactful conferences, and crucial meetings, this week will bring together those who not only want change, but are willing to act for it.

But we can't do it alone. We need enthusiastic and committed volunteers like you to help make this week a resounding success. We're looking for people who are based in New York, as we are unable to provide travel or accommodation. This is an unpaid short-term volunteer role. Activities during the week will take place in Manhattan, mostly near the United Nations at 42nd St & 1st Ave.

There are many ways to help, from support at events, to watchdogging governments or digital broadcasting. Do you have skills with live streaming events? Have you got a keen interest in monitoring UN meetings? Are you eager to see the inside of the UN and the inner workings of a multilateral treaty?

This is your chance to be part of the Nobel Peace Prize winning movement that banned nuclear weapons, fill out the form below and give us a hand as we take the next step.

The deadline for applications is 13 November!
