Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a signatory of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and has signed and ratified the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT).

There are six reactors operating in the Czech Republic, four VVER 440-213 units at Dukovany and two VVER 1000s at Temelin. The first unit was connected to the grid in 1985 and the most recent in 2002.
