A little more action
After 15 years of fruitless conversation, hundreds of unproductive meetings and billions of wasted dollars, the nuclear disarmament machinery is finally called on the carpet.
This month, a bunch of likeminded countries committed to the speedy achievement of a world free of nuclear weapons, put forward a call for action in the United Nations.
However, this attempt to kick start the global disarmament machinery is currently being stalled by the inaction of politicians and a panic–stricken and paralyzed diplomatic elite.
The time has come to tell our political leaders that we the people no longer accept procrastination, bad excuses and non-binding policy statements. After 15 years, we're tired of waiting!
