The world stands at a turning point in regard to nuclear proliferation and nuclear disarmament.
Participate in a Japanese newspaper's survey about nuclear weapons.
In July, the G8 Summit will be held in Hokkaido, Japan, and in September, the G8 Summit of Lower House Speakers will be held in Hiroshima. Nuclear proliferation will be one of the key issues addressed at the G8 Summit while “Peace and Disarmament” will be the main theme of the Speakers Summit.
With these influential meetings set to discuss nuclear issues, the Hiroshima Peace Media Center, a wing of the Chugoku Shimbun newspaper, is asking people around the world to share their thoughts on the subject of nuclear weapons.
Results will be reported to the participants of both summits and included in the findings, on both the Hiroshima Peace Media Center website and in the Chugoku Shimbun newspaper.
