Japanese Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (JPPNW) published One Day in Hiroshima: An Oral History, written by Dr Nanao Kamada, as one of the JPPNW activities for ICAN. Its aims are to let people know the life-long effects of the atomic bombings and promote the abolition of nuclear weapons. Many copies have been both donated and sold to various people and organisations.
