Disarmament Education Tool Box
ICAN commissioned leading expert Dr. Kathleen Sullivan of the Institute for Disarmament Education Action (IDEA) to generate lesson plans for teaching young people in the classroom and general audiences about nuclear dangers and solutions.
Dr. Sullivan created these materials after extensive experience in the classroom and as a consultant to the United Nations. She shares ICAN's commitment to providing information in an interactive and interesting way.
ICAN is committed to honestly and factually grappling with the horror of nuclear dangers whilst including hope and humour to inspire action rather than despondency, which is justified but not very useful in getting rid of the nuclear peril.
